A listing of Rolex sponsored yacht races for the 2007 season. The list will be updated through the year and includes links to supporting websites.

Rolex supports yacht racing worldwide in a big way. Working with community yacht clubs, the corporation sponsors some the most completive races held in the world. The following is a list of events with their supporting websites for the 2007 sailing season. Bookmark this page as a reference for the year. I will update the listings as new information as it develops.

January 14 – 21 Circuito Atlántico Sur Rolex Cup: This event includes an offshore race from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Punta del Este, Uruguay for vessels over 26 feet in length and then two more days of inshore racing in Punta del Este. The host is the Yacht Club Argentino.

January 21 – 27 Rolex Miami OCR Miami, Florida, United States: The 2007 Rolex OCR will be held at Biscayne Bay, Florida. Several area yacht clubs support the event. This event is recognized by the ISAF as a Grade 1 event and attracts many sailors vying for Olympic berths. There are 14 Olympic and Paraympic classes of competition at the event.

March 23 – 25 International Rolex Regatta St.Thomas, Virgin Islands, United States: Considered a mainstay of the Caribbean racing season, this event includes handicap and single design racing. The host is the St. Thomas Yacht Club.

May 16 – 19 Rolex Capri Sailing Week Capri, Italy: The Capri Sailing Week marks the start of the Mediterranean racing season. This event features the Swan 45 and Farr 40 one-designs, the I.M.A. Mini Maxi, and the Comet 41S, 45S, 50, 51S classes. The host is the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS).

June 4 – 9 Rolex Settimana delle Bocche Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy: Established by the YCCS in 1972, this is now a biennial event and will serve as the Farr 40 European Championship in 2007. The host is the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS).

June 8 – 10 New York Yacht Club's 153rd Annual Regatta Presented by Rolex Newport, Rhode Island, United States: This year will be a three-day event with a race around Conanicut Island, divisional races for IMS, PHRF, NYYC Cruising Rule, 12 Meter, Classic Yacht and Level classes. The host is the New York Yacht Club (NYYC).

June 10 – 16 Giraglia Rolex Cup St.Tropez, France and Genoa, Italy: A 243 mile race from St. Topez, around the Corsican island of Giragloia and then back to Genoa. The host is the Yacht Club Italiano.

June 17 – 22 Block Island Race Week presented by Rolex Block Island, Rhode Island, United States: 200 entries are expected with four fleets of vessels competing on four different courses in PHRF-handicap and single design races. This year's event will be the host of the US-IRC Nationals. The host is the Storm Trysail Club.

July 13 – 15 VIII Trofeo S.M. La Reina Rolex Cup Valencia, Spain: A fleet of one hundred TP 52s, and IMS 500, 600, 670, C and D boats will race for three days in the waters of Valencia, Spain. The host is the Real Club Naútico de Valencia (RCNV)

August 12 – 17 Rolex Fastnet Race Cowes, United Kingdom: The Rolex Fastnet is a 608 mile race from Cowes, Ireland, around Fastnet lighthouse and on to Plymouth. It ranks as one of the great classic offshore yacht races. The host is the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC).

August 17 – 23 Rolex Baltic Week Neustadt, Germany: The race will be held at the Ancora Marina with races held in Luebeck Bay of the Baltic Sea. This race will host the final meeting of the Farr 40 European Circuit and the Melges 24 European Championships. The host is the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein (NRV) Hamburg.

August 29 - September 1 Rolex Farr 40 World Championship Copenhagen, Denmark: Sailing the single design Farr 40, teams combined of professional and amateur sailors will race for four days for the class's world championship. Each vessel is identical, so winning is dependent on skill and crew ability.

September 3 – 8 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy: Considered an important event in the Mediterranean yacht racing season, many yachts are anticipated for this fall classic race. Another event hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS).

September 12 – 15 Rolex Veteran Boat Rally Porto Cervo, Sardina, Italy: Vessels in this race must be built of wood or metal and launched prior to 1950. Yachts must be over 16 meters LOA. The host is again the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (YCCS).

September 13 - 16 Rolex Big Boat Series San Francisco, California, United States: With its handicap and single design races, this event is one of the most important events of the year for sailors on the west coast of the United States. The host is the St. Francis Yacht Club.

September 29 - October 7 Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez Saint-Tropez, France: Sailboats of all types come together to race in Saint Tropez Bay. Classic yachts over 16 meters LOA compete for La Grande Classe Trophy.

October 20 – 27 Rolex Middle Sea Race Valletta, Malta: This event combines two days of coastal races near Malta with an offshore race that covers the heart of the Mediterranean Sea.

November 12 – 17 Rolex International Women's Keelboat Championship LaPorte, Texas, United States: This biennial race attracts teams from all over the world. The race is open to all women sailors, with all levels of experience. The host is the Houston Yacht Club.

Take time during 2007 to visit a sailing regatta near you. If you can't be there in person, improvements in technology will allow you to easily track vessels and follow race results from a distance.
