The Rolex Miami OCR Yacht Races
The only Olympic Classes Regatta held in the US
Join us for coverage of the Rolex Miami OCR to be held in Miami, Florida beginning on January 21, 2007 with Boating & Sailing at Suite101.
The Olympic Sailing Committee of US SAILING established the Rolex Miami OCR (Olympic Classes Regatta) in 1990. Racing will commence in Biscayne Bay on 21 January 2007. The Rolex Miami OCR is the only International Sailing Federation (ISAF) grade-one racing event conducted in the United States and is vital to sailors striving to make the US Sailing Team.
Venue - Known as a very competitive venue, the race attracts sailors from across the world. 610 sailors from 40 countries competed in the 2006 edition of the OCR. Yacht Club Information – The many single design race classes are supported in the Rolex Miami OCR by an extraordinary number of area yacht clubs. Briefly they are:

- RS:X Men and RS:X Women - Coconut Grove Sailing Club
- Yngling - Key Biscayne Yacht Club
- 2.4mR, SKUD-18, and Sonar - Shake-A-Leg Miami
- Tornado - Miami Yacht Club and the Crandon Park Marina
- 49er - Miami Rowing Club
- Laser and Laser Radial - Dinner Key Marina and Seminole Boat Ramp
